September 14th, 2021 - Parkbridge -Tornado Warning
Here we go again! Simcoe Muskoka has issued a Tornado warning for this afternoon. We will have the WHEEL and THE SPOKE open in case of inclement weather. Please keep your cell phones close for the Emergency Warning System and have an exit plan to one of the facilities if need be. We are hoping that it is just another storm but better safe than sorry. Keep one eye on the sky and stay safe!

September 9th, 2021 - Home Owners - Community Fire Safety Program
Sent on behalf of Taylor McDougall – Fire Inspector for the Town of Innisfil and Mike Symes, Fire Prevention Officer for the Town of Innisfil.
On Tuesday, September 21st, 2021, Innisfil Fire will be going door to door throughout the community delivering Smoke Alarm packages.
Residents will be able to find the package hanging on their front door.
These packages will contain information on smoke alarm maintenance, installation and how to test. The package will encourage residents to test their alarms and then display “notification” to the Fire department.
You will be provided with a sheet with a green check mark and a red stop sign. The green “CHECK MARK” displayed in a window or door lets the Fire Department know the resident was able to test their alarm successfully with no questions or concerns. A red “STOP SIGN” may indicate the resident was unable to test their alarm, they may have a question, there may be a concern, or assistance is required. If a stop sign is displayed, one personnel from the Fire department will be available to assist wearing proper PPE.
On Saturday, September 25th, 2021, the Fire Department will be back around to check in on resident success. Does anyone require assistance? Are there any questions? This will be when we are looking to see your Check mark or Stop sign displayed in a front window or door.
Our goal is to keep everyone safe, while providing an interactive Community Fire Safety Program.
September 8th, 2021 - Parkbridge - Elections & Wildlife Feeding
Good day Sandycove Acres,
Just a quick communication and friendly reminder. Have a wonderful day!
Elections on Monday September 20th, 2021. Polling Station held at the Wheel from 9:30am to 9:30pm. Currently looking for poll workers, please apply at Elections Canada.
Friendly reminder feeding wildlife can make them dependent on us for a source of food, this also opens the door to inviting less desirable visitors such as raccoons, mice or rats to frequent the area. Please don’t feed the wildlife.
