HOME FAIR 2019 - to the residents of Sandycove Acres – mark your calendars and plan to attend this year’s HOME FAIR hosted by the Sandycove Home Owners’ Association.     Plans are well underway for this year’s home fair - Saturday, May 4th from 9am - noon at the Wheel.  CLICK HERE for more details and the updated list of vendors

As a special feature of this year's HOME FAIR we will be showcasing "Emergency Preparedness Day" as part of the federal “Emergency Preparedness Week” in the Wheel Ballroom and the North Wheel Building.  - Saturday, May 4th from 9am - noon at the Wheel.  CLICK HERE for more details on Emergency Prep Day

Discover the SEMINAR SERIES which are presented for Sandycove residents by the Home Owners Association.   These sessions were started in 2009 and have continued with successful seminars presented on a regular basis.   These are information sessions specifically focusing on the interests of Seniors and retired folks.   When scheduled they are normally held the 3rd Monday of the month at the SPOKE  and are well attended.    CLICK HERE for more information on these informative sessions and/or watch the monthly newsletters for current seminar information.

(IMPORTANT) The Home Owners’ Association operates under the leadership of 10 Directors who come from all walks of life, all types of employment, educational backgrounds and life experiences – everyone brings something to the table.   There will be vacancies on the Board going into the 2019-2020 term.   The Board is asking YOU to consider putting your name forward to run in the election for the 2019-2020 term.  The HOA is looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives to assist in its endeavour to serve its membership in the best way possible.  It doesn’t matter is you’ve been in Sandycove Acres for 1 month or 25 years or more - if you want to make a difference and are willing to volunteer some of your time and energy to this very worthwhile cause – please contact any Director for more information.  The contact information for the Nominating Chair will be published in the near future on this site and in the Newsletter, SCAeBulletin and HOABulletin.   The Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday June 9th.  The election of Directors for the 2019-2020 term will take place at that time.   The new term starts on July 1st. 

Member Forums are presented on a quarterly basis for members to keep them up to date on issues and challenges facing the residents of Sandycove Acres.   This process was started in early 2018 as a means to help improve the communications within Sandycove Acres.   To view the Member Forums held to date please click here.

 

COFFEE CHATS are held regularly at the Wheel and hosted by Parkbridge.   These are intended to keep residents up to date on everything happening from Parkbridge.   Please click here to see presentations made at the most recent Coffee Chats.   Next Coffee Chat is Thursday June 6th, 2019 at the Wheel at 9:30am.  

 

The Social Clubs of SANDYCOVE ACRES - These groups and many others all help to create the lifestyle that makes Sandycove what it is today.   Sandycove Acres is a great place to be in large part due to the 3 very active volunteer SOCIAL CLUBS in Sandycove.   Check out these groups by clicking here or on the respective halls shown by clicking on Activities.

HEALTH CLINICS in Simcoe County, A WALK-IN CLINIC has opened in the Innisfil Town Offices.    A full service clinic is located there with hours that are very suitable to retirees and/or folks still working.   Click here to see the complete list of Clinics in Simcoe County and take note of the highlighted clinic in the Innisfil Town Offices.

INNISFIL PUBLIC LIBRARY  at the Innisfil Beach Road site offers FREE courses on many topics including WORD, EXCEL, FACEBOOK, E-MAIL, Intros to COMPUTERS and INTERNET, etc.   CLICK on the LOGO and check out the schedule of events at the NEW Town library.
