(NEW)  IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS - The following statement has been posted by Parkbridge (November 1st, 2019) on Community TV.    The Home Owners' Association is circulating it to ensure that as many residents as possible are aware of it and can, if affected, decide what action they wish to take.    Please be aware that the Association had no advance notice of this policy and will be discussing with Parkbridge management. (sent by John Bicknell, President Sandycove Home Owners Association)

RE: Temporary enclosures

Sandycove Acres homeowners take great pride in their homes and their community, and we want to ensure that any homeowner who wants to make exterior visual improvements to the home and home site has requested permission through an Application to Alter as set out in your lease agreement.   This includes temporary structures or enclosures.   You have made a significant investment in your home and this community, and we want to ensure that your investment is protected, as well as your neighbours’.    Please note that we will not approve temporary enclosures that do not represent your home or our community in an aesthetically pleasing way.   We require a level of professional workmanship that helps protect the value of your home and the community.   We will accept Applications to Alter should you wish a more permanent enclosure to your home to be reviewed.   In the meantime, we are requesting that all temporary enclosures be removed immediately.   We recognize that historically these temporary enclosures may have gone up in the past without an Application to Alter.   However, we are putting a focus on making sure our community standards are enforced to protect everyone’s investment in Sandycove Acres.   We thank you for your understanding and cooperation regarding this matter.
