When you buy a new car, it comes with an owner’s manual — oil changes, tire rotations, regular servicing — all designed to protect a major investment and keep it running smoothly for years. But what about your home?

MUNICIPAL PROPERTY ASSESSMENT CORP (MPAC) – The co-sponsored event HOA & Parkbridge hoped to arrange with MPAC presentation to Sandycove homeowners on policy, procedures & regulations relating to Municipal Property Assessments is not going to go forward for now. Check Notice Boards, eBulletins, Entrance signs, website & Facebook for breaking news on a possible date in the future. If you want to discuss your personal assessment, call MPAC 1-866-296-6722.

MPAC presented a document called “Assessing Land Lease Communities – Guide for Land Lease Community Homeowners”. Which outlines how land lease communities get assessed. As there were still references to land, they have been redacted for land lease purposes and contains a disclaimer at the top of the document by the Sandycove Home Owners Association dated 2024 11 24. FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL & MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON-SITE DEBATES During election years, if requested. This is a great time to come and ask questions of your candidates. 2026 Municipal Information seminar was held at the Wheel Main room in April 2026. Very informative and the wider area of including the Sandy Cove district outside of Sandycove Acres.

OTHER EVENTS – These are arranged with presenters to advise residents of some of the current frauds, fire safeguards and prevention: only to name a few.

Rotary Train – 2025 Christmas Rotary Train was Cancelled due to weather. Arranged for April 2026 and was a great success in cool but nicer weather.
