Sandycove Community Fundraisers – 2012
SANDYCOVE residents have once again exceeded all expectations through the annual community fundraising effort the Repeat Boutique. Over $10,700 was collected through this two day event that featured a gently used clothing sale, fashion and variety show, silent auction, BBQ and a successful draw for a magnificent Doll House built be a Sandycove resident. This now brings the eight year total to $55,500 all of which has gone to the RVH Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre. FANTASTIC JOB…….
The picture shows the Sandycove organizers Lil Gemmell, Joyce Feren and Donna Van Strien along with Mayor Barb Baguley and just some of the 150+ workers that made this event a success. The cheque was presented to the RVH Auxiliary President Margaret Tervit.
